While attending Washburn University School of Law, Holder contributed to the Washburn Law Journal as both a staff writer and on the board of editors as a Comments editor. His comment, Negligent Entrustment: The Wrong Solution to the Serious Problem of Illegal Gun Sales in Kansas, 50 Washburn L.J. 743, was published in the spring of 2011. He was presented with the Free Society of GNIP-GNOP award for Best Comment at the Washburn Law Journal’s 50th Anniversity banquet in 2011. Holder served as a law clerk for the Kansas Court of Tax Appeals for two years, before joining Fisher, Patterson, Sayler & Smith in 2012 as a law clerk and then as an associate. Holder’s practice is focused on civil litigation defense.
